Problem Statement

Elda Health's app experience presents several usability and engagement challenges. From first level primary research, we understood users encounter redundant information and repetitive actions, leading to frustration and inefficiency. The visual language, particularly the illustrative style fails to connect with the intended audience. User engagement with expert content is comparatively low, and a significant drop-off rate immediately after onboarding highlights issues with initial user retention and overall experience design.

Research & Analysis

We conducted qualitative research through around 130 user interviews and surveys, gathering over 60 key data points. This included trial users and digital subscribers, helping us capture a comprehensive view of different user groups. The research was carried out at multiple stages of the design process, enabling informed decision-making. From this, we developed 3 personas, uncovered 7 key insights, and identified 3 core themes to guide the design direction.
